Installation

If the Installer stop you from installing the package, you should check whether you have correctly installed the following on your PC/Server:
- Internet Information Server (IIS) 7.0 (or above)

- IIS sub-module, ASP.NET, .NET Extendibility, ASP, ISAPI Extensions and ISAPI Filters was installed and enabled

Uninstallation

Uninstallation of VasPatch can be done simply by removing the program in Program and Features under Control Panel.

Note: the uninstallation process will not remove the user data such as the database data.

1.      If there is warning prompt saying that some IIS Worker process started, you may safely ignore them and continue the uninstallation.
2.      If any of the services fail to removed after uninstallation, you may do the followings:
           a.   Start the command prompt with administrator privilege.
      b. Execute: sc delete <service name to remove>
                                       i.      VasPatch Analysis Service is named VasPatchAnalysis
                               ii.      VasPatch Data Service is named VasPatchData
           c.       You may need to reboot your machine.
3.      Please do not remove the IIS Module “VasPatch IIS Module” directly in IIS Manager. If the IIS Module cannot be removed by the uninstaller. You may do the followings:
       a.   Start the command prompt with administrator privilege.
       b. To remove the IIS Module, execute: %windir%\System32\inetsrv\appcmd VasPatchIISModule
